Hello! I’m Penny, a passionate illustrator and visual artist based in Thailand. I’ve been passionate about drawing since I was very young — growing up, art was always my favorite way to express myself. That love led me to study art more seriously, where I explored both traditional techniques like painting, drawing, and printmaking, as well as digital tools such as illustration software and graphic design.
Through my studies and hands-on experience, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients — from design companies to individual collaborators — on various creative projects. These experiences have helped me grow not only as an artist, but also as a communicator and problem-solver.
I’m always curious and open to learning. Whether it’s mastering a new technique or experimenting with a fresh style, I continue to find joy in the process of making art and discovering new creative paths.
After studying art fundamentals for two years at university, I discovered my passion for printmaking and chose it as my major. As I explored various techniques throughout my coursework, I found that silkscreen printing resonated most with my artistic style and creative vision.
This focus led to exciting opportunities, including working as a printmaker for several artists. One of the most memorable collaborations was with the acclaimed artist MAMAFAKA — an experience that deeply influenced my growth and continues to inspire my work.
Even though I graduated with a major in Printmaking, my artistic journey didn’t stop there. After university, I’ve been lucky to take on many challenging and exciting projects that pushed me to explore beyond my original field. From collage, painting, and origami to mixed media and conceptual work, I’ve learned to adapt different techniques to fit each idea or story I wanted to express. Each project became an opportunity to grow, experiment, and expand the way I see and create art
Throughout my journey as an artist, I’ve gained a wide range of experience and continue to feel deeply passionate about creating art. Over time, I began turning the illustrations I made in my free time into merchandise, which led to the launch of my own small business — PENNYPLAYSTORE.
Through this brand, I discovered a new and exciting path: bringing my illustrations to life on everyday products. It’s been incredibly fulfilling to see my artwork take on a playful, tangible form and connect with people in a whole new way.
